Obituary for Christian Joseph Congelos

Ware - Christian Joseph Congelos, 15, died suddenly on November 7, 2017 in an automobile accident in W. Brookfield. Born April 12, 2002 in Springfield, he was the son of Sandra (Pereira) Congelos with whom he lived, and the late Joseph Peter Congelos.

He grew up in Warren, attending Warren Community Elementary School and was currently a sophomore at Quaboag Regional High School. He was a skilled athlete and has played on both Varsity and Jr. Varsity basketball, baseball and soccer teams, and was the starting goalie in soccer. He was well known and well loved by the sports and school community of which he was a part.

Besides his mother, he will be deeply missed by his twin brother Colin and younger brother Antonio Congelos, along with older siblings Tammy Petrocelli of Scituate, Brandy Reilly of NJ and Joe Congelos, Jr. of FL. Additionally his maternal uncles David and Anthony Pereira of Palmer, and paternal aunts Camille Butler of Utah and Paula Congelos of Suffield, CT survive him.

A Funeral Mass will be Monday, November 13 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church in Ware, (please meet directly at the church) followed by burial in St. Ann's Cemetery, Three Rivers. Calling hours will be Saturday, Nov 11 from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St, Palmer.
