Obituary

Holyoke - Jozef Wrzesinski, 90, died on March 15, 2017. He was born December 2, 1926 in Poland, son of Franciszek and Teofila Wrzesinski. He was raised in Poland and has lived in Holyoke since 1981. Jozef retired from Edaron Inc. as a machine operator. He was a member of Unitas and a communicant of our Lady of the Cross Church in Holyoke. He is survived by three children, Jozef Wrzesinski, Jr. and wife Barbara, Chester Wrzesinski and wife Dorothy and Alicia Gutkowski and husband Steven all of Chicopee. He also leaves two sisters, Lucyna Krzyzanowska and Maria Kiejda of Poland, nine grandchildren, Anna, David, Dorothy, Beatrice, Robert, Daniel, Alex, Martin and Ashley and two great grandchildren, Lucas and Ella. Jozef was preceded in death by his wife, Stanislawa (Klisz) Wrzesinski, a daughter Wieslawa Pianka, a sister Eugenia Chmielewski and a brother Stefan Wrzesinski. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Monday, March 20th at 9:00 a.m to follow to a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Cross Church. Burial will follow in the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery in S. Hadley. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home.
