Beverly Barry

Obituary of Beverly Ann Barry

Ludlow-Beverly Ann Barry, 66, passed away on March 22, 2024. She was born on October 26, 1957, in Chelmsford, England to Lucy (McGivern) Pelletiere of Wilbraham and the late Robert Pelletiere.

Beverly was a long-time resident of Ludlow, Massachusetts and took immense pride in serving and helping her community in any way she could. She served on the Board of Assessors in Ludlow as well as the ADA commission for more than 20 years, and had a rich history in volunteering in her community. Beverly was also a licensed real estate broker for over 30 years. Over those years she also became an educator, teaching first time home buyer programs. Beverly had a true passion for helping first time home buyers achieve their dream of owning a home.

However, what truly made Beverly's heart and soul thrive each day was being “Nana” to her three grandchildren; granddaughters Adelaide and Effie Barker, and grandson Camden Crawford.

In her free time she enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and friends, taking care of animals, and especially rescuing boxer dogs.

In addition to her three grandchildren, Beverly will be deeply missed by her mother Lucy (McGivern) Pelletiere of Wilbraham, her two daughters, Elizabeth Crawford (Michael) of Uxbridge and Cheryl Barker (Dave) of Swampscott. She also leaves her two sisters, Karen Smith of Chesapeake, VA and Tracy Pelletiere of Savannah, GA as well as nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends.
